Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Your journey begins with pickup from Entebbe International Airport or Kampala. After a short briefing, depart for Kibale National Park.
Enjoy scenic views of tea plantations, rolling hills, and rural landscapes along the way. You will have a lunch stop en route before continuing to the park.
Arrive in the afternoon and check into your lodge near the forest. Spend the evening relaxing in preparation for the next day’s chimpanzee trekking. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Wetland Walk
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority guides.
Enter the forest for chimpanzee tracking, where you will follow expert trackers in search of these intelligent primates. Once found, spend an hour observing them as they feed, groom, and interact—an exciting and memorable experience.
Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk. This area is rich in birdlife and other primates, offering excellent opportunities for photography and cultural interaction.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Return to Entebbe or Kampala
After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport.
Enjoy scenic views and a lunch stop along the way, arriving in the late afternoon or evening. Drop-off will be arranged at your hotel or airport for your onward travel.
